Care & Use

Follow these guidelines carefully to get the best results from your titanium cookware and to keep your 100-day guarantee valid. Failure to follow these instructions may affect your eligibility for a return or refund.

First Use

Before using your pan for the first time, wash it with warm water, a small amount of mild dish soap, and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing on the heat.

How to Cook with Titanium

  • Always preheat gently — place the pan on low to medium heat for 1–2 minutes before adding food or fat. Never place food in a cold pan.
  • Always use cooking fat — add a small amount of oil or butter after preheating. This prevents sticking and ensures even cooking.
  • Use medium heat — titanium conducts heat efficiently. High heat is unnecessary and can cause food to burn or stick. Excessive heat voids the guarantee.
  • Be patient when turning food — if food resists, wait. It will naturally release when it is ready. Forcing it causes tearing and sticking.

Cleaning

  • Wash with warm water, a soft sponge, and mild dish soap after each use.
  • For stubborn residue, soak in warm water for a few minutes — do not scrub aggressively.
  • The pan is dishwasher safe for occasional use, but regular dishwasher use is not recommended as it may affect the surface over time.
  • Never use steel wool, abrasive scouring pads, or harsh chemical cleaners. Doing so voids the guarantee.
  • Allow the pan to cool before washing — do not run cold water over a hot pan.

Common Issues & Solutions

  • Food is sticking — this is almost always a preheating or fat issue. Ensure the pan is preheated on medium heat and that fat is added before food. Review the steps above.
  • Colour changes (golden, blue, bronze tones) — this is normal titanium oxidation. It is the same process that occurs in medical-grade titanium implants. It is safe and does not affect performance.
  • Surface marks or patina — normal after regular use. Does not affect cooking performance.

What Voids the Guarantee

The following will make your product ineligible for a return or refund under our 100-day guarantee:

  • Cooking on excessively high heat
  • Using steel wool, abrasive pads, or harsh cleaning chemicals
  • Physical damage from dropping or impact
  • Using the product in ways not intended (e.g. as storage, outdoor open flame without guidance)
  • Failure to use cooking fat when required

Storage

Store in a dry place. When stacking pans, place a soft cloth or pan protector between them to prevent surface scratches.
